Yesterday Noah turned 10 months old. Steve and I can hardly believe that he is almost a year old. We were comparing these photos and noticing how much Noah has changed over the past few months. The top picture was taken just a couple of days ago and the bottom picture was taken in August. It's amazing how quickly time seems to pass!

Let's Make A Pizza!
Steve made some awesome pizza dough the other night and Zoe asked if he would save some dough for her. For lunch yesterday, Zoe whipped up a great little cheese pizza. I wish I would have taken a picture of the final product. It looked amazing! She ended up eating all 6 pieces by herself!

Karate Kid
The other night Zoe decided that she wanted to do karate. She begged me to let her do some karate after her bath before she went to bed. I was curious so I said that she could. After she got ready for bed, she started laying out a towel (she informed me it was her karate mat). Then she asked me to tie several of her blankets onto her body. One blanket was for her karate hat. One she wore as her karate skirt. I honestly I don't remember what the one around her neck was for, but it definitely had a purpose. After she was garbed in her gear she stated doing "karate moves". Steve and I couldn't stop laughing. I don't know where she comes up with this stuff, but it sure keeps us entertained!

The Results Are In...
Noah had a doctor's appointment last week for his 9 month check up. I really don't know where the time has gone! He weighs 20.8 lbs. (50th percentile), is 29 1/2 inches long (95th percentile), and his head is in the 75th percentile :0) He army crawls like crazy. (Zoe never got on her hands and knees to crawl & I think Noah is going to be the same way) He has 5 teeth (3 on the top and 2 on the bottom) We are now at the stage where we have to close all of the doors because he laughs and takes off down the hall towards any open room. He seems to consistently say "da-da" and as of the last few days he has started to say "uh-oh". "Uh-oh" was Zoe's first word so it's brought back a lot of memories:0) And the big news is...for the past 17 days (not that I'm counting:0) Noah has been sleeping through the night!!! It's amazing quickly time goes by. Before I know it Zoe will be in Kindergarten and Noah will be a toddler.

MLK Day

When the weather's unseasonably warm...take your family to the beach! Today is the 11th day in a row that it's been sunny, clear and in the mid 60's. It's hard to believe that it is the middle of January! At first I complained that the sunny weather was cutting into my favorite winter weather, but then I decided it won't last forever...So now I'm enjoying every minute of it. We had a great day at the beach. We had a picnic lunch, built sand castles and hung out. Zoe even got into the water. I don't know how she got in when the water temperature was 50.4˚. Noah rolled around and ate sand. It was a great way to spend a day off!

Fancy Dinner
On Friday night we went out for "Fancy Dinner" as Zoe called it. She decided that she and Noah needed to dress up for dinner. She picked out both of their outfits and even insisted I take their picture. She also wanted to do some silly pictures (as you can see). Zoe was the person who got to pick where we were eating. She chose pizza and ice cream (not so "fancy" I know, but it was her choice). We had a great time and we all enjoyed pizza and ice cream!
